The second DLC instalment for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet unexpectedly took us back to Unova, with many references to the Black and White region and its characters, as well as new interpretations of iconic locations like the Chargestone Cave.
As usual, I completed this in Pokémon Violet shortly after its release, but I always go back to Scarlet for the missing version exclusives – which, outrageously for this generation, are truly version exclusive, with no option to choose between different rare Pokémon. Gone are the Sword and Shield days where you could simply start a new save file and choose between Regieleki and Regidrago, or Glastrier and Spectrier.
So what is there to do as a Blueberry Academy student?
As always, playing through the story and reaching credits is always a safe bet. You will be able to meet some new characters, battle the League Club members and go back to Area Zero to complete the Paldea/Kitakami storyline and catch the newest Legendary Pokémon.
If you go back to Mesagoza, you will also be able to unlock a brief new storyline focusing on Team Star.
Once you get access to the PC in the League Club, you will be able to invite special coaches who will offer a reward for defeating them and, after a third visit, a Pokémon trade. The Pokémon you receive will have a special ribbon (it does not matter what Pokémon you give them, as long as you caught it and it is not a shiny or legendary Pokémon).
Some of these special coaches will only be accessible after you complete the Mochi Madness Epilogue (released in January 2024). It can be triggered by going to the shop in Mossui Town, back in Kitakami, and interacting with the purple item on the left side of the stall.

After the credits, you can go to the Crystal Pool in Kitakami for an additional cut scene
After unlocking and defeating the Secret Boss by inviting special coaches to the League Room, they will offer to trade you a shiny Blitzle
Special trades are also available for some additional characters, such as Kieran, Carmine and the BB League members. (Unfortunately, these cannot be invited through the PC, you will have to wait until midnight for the characters currently in the League Club to refresh, or play around with your Switch’s time settings)
Very early on into the story, you will be given a Style Card. With that, all Paldean shops will offer more customisation options. Shops and salons are located in Mesagoza, Cascarrafa and Levincia.

As you invite League Club coaches later in the game through the PC in the League Club, you will unlock a handful more customisations
After completing the Team Star storyline, you can go to Porto Marinada where Atticus is running auctions for special clothing. Be prepared to spend a few millions overall on these, if you would like to get them
You can complete the Pokédex for a third time in Scarlet and Violet to get a variety of precious items.
You can also speak to Cyrano at the Academy Entrance to receive a certificate, a Mark Charm and go through additional dialogue with an old character.
Remember that the Indigo disk brought back the ability to catch many Starter Pokémon, but in order for them to appear you will have to unlock them through the PC in the League Club (3,000 Blueberry Points per Biome).
You meet Perrin again in the Terarium and she offers you the opportunity to catch new Paradox Pokémon, provided that you have 200 Pokémon registered in your Blueberry Pokédex.
She will show you different photographs (depending on your Version) taken in Area Zero that you can use as reference to find the new Paradoxes.
If you show her the Pokémon in the photographs, she will reward you with a very rare Sport Ball.

I personally accepted this challenge and tried to find them on my own, but the photographs and the perspectives are so bad that they hardly work as reference. You would be better off just wandering around Area Zero or looking up a tutorial
Old Legendary Pokémon have returned and they can be caught by… giving them snacks. Speak to Snacksworth at the entrance of the Blueberry Academy after the credits to unlock the ability to collect snacks from him which will make some Legendary Pokémon appear across Paldea.
You can get every type of snack regardless of whether you are playing Scarlet or Violet, but, depending on your version, some will take more effort than others
You will be required to complete Group Quests (special Blueberry Quests or BBQs) using the Union Circle for a few of them
Once unlocked they will appear in specific locations across Paldea; they cannot be shiny
⚠️ Spoilery Bits (expand) ⚠️
Meloetta can be caught in the Coastal Biome, by following some very specific instructions
Pecharunt can be caught at the end of the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue
You can unlock permanent flying for Koraidon/Miraidon by speaking to Amarys in a Blueberry Academy classroom after you finish the DLC main story. This will allow Koraidon/Miraidon to fly (rather than glide) when you press the left stick in mid-air
You can fly to the very top of the Terarium for some special items hidden on the Terarium Core!
New TMs are available in the Indigo Disk! You can collect TM202 to TM229 now. All of them will be available from the TM Machine, but they can also be collected in the overworld
New emotes and poses are available! Some of them will unlock as you go through the story, others are unlocked by talking to specific NPCs
You can unlock all sorts of updates using the League Club PC, including special camera effects, music and other customisation features
In the League Club you will be able to use and upgrade the Item Printer, a powerful machine that prints useful items and rare Poké Balls in exchange for Pokémon materials. You can upgrade it up to 3 times after a certain number of uses
Unlock the Synchro Machine by speaking to Synclair in the central area of the Terarium
Beat every trainer in each Biome of the Terarium to get rewards from the NPCs at the various rest stops scattered throughout the map
Have you found any more things to do in the Indigo Disk? Is there more to complete that I have missed?
