About me

My name is Cesare /cheh·zuh·ray/, sometimes shortened to Ces /chez/.

My first Pokémon game was Pokémon Silver (hence the name of the website) and my favourite Pokémon is Vaporeon.

I'm currently based in the UK, only because they tell me Hoenn isn't an option.

What do you write about?

I write about a bit of everything – VGC, shiny hunting, random personal quests.

I don't really post guides per se, but I do talk about my experience with various challenges and try to give tips or links to useful resources.

Why are you doing this?

As social media collapses, I found myself feeling nostalgic for content that isn't a 10-minute video explanation or a 280-character post. So this is where I record my experiences and thoughts. I think these used to be called... 'blogs'?
